TRUMP BOARD THREATENS DEMOLISHING KENNEDY CENTER ? NBC News report

NBC News reports that Trump's Board at Kennedy Center has threatened to demolish Kennedy Center unless they are allowed to close the center for two years "restoration" but some online reports say they also demanded that Trump's name must be added to the Center. or they will demolish. Not clear if that latter demand is accurate. How sad to see this thriving arts center in such a crisis for no legitimate reason.

Honestly? Sounds great. I hope we are never able to forget how we got here and the damage wrought. I hope he demolishes it and builds a big, golden palace with his name on every inch.

This is who we are now. We shouldn't be allowed to forget.

Giving up, or giving in to the Trump administration is definitely not an option Americans should buy into.

Trump and his administration are very aware that their days are numbered. That's why they (especially Trump) are dialing up the abhorrent behaviors - they believe our spirit will be broken by the oppression and physical destruction created by their actions.

This country is ours. Don't give up.

Trump doesn't give a damn.

I've always felt that his ultimate goal was to demolish the building and build a monument to himself in its place. All this nonsense about closing it for two years to make repairs is just that: nonsense. Keep in mind that Trump would never agree to share billing with anyone, especially JFK. He wants it all to himself.

Scott MacFarlane is reporting that "Court hearing over the future of the Kennedy Center -- and the future of that huge tarp which obscures the facade - is scheduled for 2pm tomorrow (Thursday) here in DC federal court."
