Broadway Flash said: "It still did well, it extended"

...but not every production that extends then transfers. Yeah, it's possible it could transfer -- but I wouldn't take its extension and Sandra Oh affirming her love of being on stage as evidence to hang your hat on.

Sometimes we have to also accept that some off-Broadway shows are just meant to stay off-Broadway, no matter how good they are.

That being said, I could see a world where this makes it to Broadway, but I do think the show could do with some revision first.  There's a lot of interesting stuff in there but it still felt messy to me and moments that felt like they were supposed to hit hard didn't necessarily come out as impactful as it wanted to.

Saw this tonight.  Two actors got sick so two actors who joined the cast a few days ago stepped in. Script in hand. Apparently they don’t have understudies at the Atlantic.  I enjoyed the play more than the production.  It felt all over the place, and the girl playing Sally screamed her way through the play, you couldn’t understand half of what she was saying.  Overall, it was okay.

Why does every conversation about an off-Broadway show turn into a "will this make it to Broadway" conversation? Why can't we accept the fact that maybe producers don't intend to bring things to Broadway and that's perfectly fine? Musing, sure. But every single off-Broadway show? Come on
