Was looking at prices for the Tosca concert performance with Kaufmann in November in NYC that went onsale today. After being in the queue for 2 hours I finally was let in to see that they are asking $186US for up in the balcony. You risk your life sitting there. Ridiculous!

There are tickets for $28 for On the Town. And you can see Tosca this season at the met with great sopranos and get cheap tix

I sat in the Balcony in 2023 for The Met Orchestra in the Stern Auditorium/Perelman Stage (Bernstein, Aucoin, Tchaikovsky & Verdi) Sat Center row E. It was fine with a perfect view and sound. Getting up there was a challenge! (I walked) My ticket was $61.00. I assume pricing may be different for each event but that is steep for the balcony it seems.

$199 with fees for the last row of the last balcony is quite something! But I guess it worked out for them since it's almost sold out both nights (unless they held a lot of seats back).
Dudamel + Kaufmann is a hot combo.

CH had a lot of productions, events and concerts on sale all at once today. They should spread it out. The wait was long. The $11+ fees per ticket are ridiculous though.

I noticed they took away the fees for second stage 30Under30 tickets. When i went to look at The Fantastiks tickets a few weeks ago, they added a 10 dollar fee. Yesterday when i looked at The Visitors tickets, there was no longer a fee and I bought tickets to both shows, 30 bucks a ticket, 0 fees.
