Rachel Zegler's next stage role?

I'm sure she'll continue doing a lot of film work, but I hope she comes back to Broadway on a regular basis, and I'm wondering what roles people would like to see her play. I would really love for her to do Millie while she's the right age.

There was a thread about this a year or so ago but Millie has to be dead right? I knew that show was racist when they did it at my middle school and I was like 12. I love the score but I just can't imagine it.

Dead, like it will never be back on Broadway? No way. They'll revise it.

Re: Rachel Zegler's next stage role?

Zegler has an amazing voice, and watching slime tutorials, her Eva is spectacular, but I'm still not sure how versatile she is or how good an actress, and thus what kind of career she can have. There's zero character development from her Eva over the course of the show. She is fully formed Eva Peron from first to last, striking pop diva power poses and looking relentlessly icy and in control except for "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina" (and it's her portrayal throughout the rest of the show that makes that moment so devestating--that intense "earnestness" that isn't telegraphed in any way as a sham as she's singing to the crowd, and anyone just showing up on the street to see her sing it would totally miss who her Eva really is; which was, of course, the whole point).

This may be a Lloyd failing, not a Zegler failing, but it's a fact nonetheless. I'd like to think she could have triumphed in this role in a more traditional staging, but she hasn't yet demonstrated that she can, so I'm not sure what roles would fit her.

Does she have the range for Dot or Eliza, or would she be better as Maria von Trapp or, as suggested above, Millie? A revival of The Boy Friend? Peter Pan? Just throwing out guesses here.
