On Broadway.com, it says that Priscilla runs for 2 hrs, 15 min. When I was in the city last weekend and saw the show, banking on it being that length to make a flight, I barely made it to the airport on time after it ran 2 hrs, 40 min. I know Ticketmaster, which Priscilla's tickets are sold through, doesn't list running time the same as Telecharge does (I don't think), but I didn't think that Broadway.com would be THAT off. Does anyone know why that inconsistency might exist? Was the London production shorter? I'm really curious about this...

I don't think Bway.com added in the intermission which is for some reason an odd 18 scheduled minutes...

On the Priscilla website it says 2 hours 30 minutes with 15 minute intermission. Not sure why it would say shorter anywhere else...but I actually heard that some things were cut from the London production, so I assumed the London one would be longer? But I guess not?

I saw it on Sunday, and was out of the theater at 4:35, according to my cell phone.

Maybe the performance I saw ran a little long for some reason...there was a lot of applause in random spots.

Meanwhile, I have been watching all the clips I can find of this show to remember how much I enjoyed it, and I noticed something strange. During Color My World, it shows the bus's pink lights starting to show up a bit during the number as it is on Youtube. But when I saw the show, none of the lights came on until after the song was over and a few lines were said. It struck me as odd then, too, because they sang this whole song about painting it and making it nicer, but the song ended with the bus looking the same as it did before, until the lights came on a few seconds later. Was this just a mishap?

Woah, that definitely must've been a mishap with the bus. I've seen Priscilla a lot in the past month and I've never seen it happen. Were the 3 characters and the dancing paintbrushes still going over to the bus and "pretending" to paint it?

Yeah, that was totally a mishap. There's a whole animation on the bus during the song of it being painted.

Just remembered about this thread...
Yeah, they were pretending to paint it, but I thought it looked pretty lame. All I could think the whole time was why are they painting it but nothing is changing? The big finish of the number was probably ruined when the spotlights hit it and it looked EXACTLY the same.
