Does anybody know anything about the "Youth Tickets" offered day-of at the box office for Passing Strange? How early should I get there? How many tickets do they offer each day? Where are the seats located?
I got two youth tickets row E side orchestra less than two hours before show time yesterday (Friday). Take advantage and see the show... it is amazing!
I went to the matinee performance today. Got one Youth ticket for Orchestra E-111 at 1pm.
(I am so glad I went! I had absolutely no previous interest in seeing this show, but all the positive reviews made me curious and I figured what the hell it's only $26.50. It was such an experience! I really don't know how to describe it, it's best to see it for oneself. At first I was like "What the heck am I watching?" but after a little while I found myself moving along with the music and really getting interested in the story. I loved how I was so close that when the music got really loud I could literally feel it shaking my chair and moving through me. It was just an amazing experience. Like nothing else I've ever seen on Broadway.)
How easy has it been to get the 'Youth Tickets' lately? How early should I get there on a Friday?

A friend got them two Fridays ago @ 5:00pm easy, and got pretty good Orch seats. They seem to sell whatever is available that day - the earlier you can get there, probably the better so you can def have them...but if you can't get there 'til a few hours before curtain, I doubt you'll have trouble.
