WOW - what a cast!!!

I didn't see its initial run, though I believe the reception was very positive / there was general Pulitzer buzz.

Also nice to see not-insane ticket prices - $49/$69/$89/$119/$139. The Mezzanine at Greenwich House admittedly scares me a bit (lol) - but I sat in the very rear Orchestra for Bug back in the day and the view was fine.

Anyone see it at the Connelly run?

Saw it in its last iteration. It was really fantastic. Would recommend. Heavy subject matter, however.

I wish that for this off broadway return they would just have one person playing the lead throughout the run so that they won’t have to have them reading the script from a binder. Edie Falco was sublime when I watched it in its first run but sometimes when she reads the lines from the binder (like in the Encores) it takes me out from scene. Was there a purpose for this other than allowing them to have rotating leads for the show or is it really just their schtick?

either way I’m still excited to see Lupita put her stamp on this heart wrenching opus by Marin Ireland.

To me, it was this idea that this could be any woman. This story is sadly universal.
