I just got back from New York, and though I don't know ANYTHING for sure, I can tell you about what I encountered. I parked at the garage next to the theatre and when we were getting our car out at 4:00 this afternoon, there were audio and video feeds going into the garage. Now, I don't know if this was for the podcast that was mentioned in this thread or if it was for some kind of archive recording, but I can say with some level of confidence that the show was recorded.
Idina: Somehow I got myself to the stage, came out at the end of the show, and I had some kind of closure.
Some guy: You looked great!
Idina: Thanks...I WAS SO HIGH!

You must remember all the same that at the crux of every game is knowing when it's time to leave the table... And it's important to be artful in your exit. No turning back, you must accept the con is done... It was a ball, it was a blast. And it's a shame it couldn't last. But every chapter has to end, you must agree. ~Dirty Rotten Scoundrels~
There's a special kind of people known as show people. We live in a world full of dreams. Sometimes we're not too certain what's false and what's real. But we're seldom in doubt about what we feel. ~Curtains~
It is a far, far better thing I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to, than I have ever known. ~A Tale of Two Cities ~

*sigh* and i was in the area at the time of the lottery, but didn't go. seeing daphne on the railing doing "out tonight" makes me regret not trying my hand at the lotto, but here's hoping we get a legal version of this, be it podcast, dvd or cd.
There are some people in the world who say that writing stories, or composing music or dancing sparkly dances is easy for them. Nothing interferes with their ability to create. While I celebrate their creative freedom, a little part of me just wants to punch those motherf*ckers in the teeth...[tos]
