I've never wanted to disagree so much, but I fear you are correct. I've come to truly despise Cameron Mackintosh. He's even selling tour merch emblazoned with the text, "The Brilliant Original", no doubt because he's trying to distance this tour from his previous "reimagined" mess. Personally, I wish the Prince, Bjornson, and Lynne estates would sue him for implying that this tour comprises their original production.
