With all the shows either closed or closing soon, what will they fill these spaces with? Even the Gazillion Bubble Show is closing

Is Spelling Bee for sure closing? I know it's only selling through Sep 6 but it feels like it could extend again especially with Heathers closing

Maybe Evil Dead or a Lazarus remount with them bringing back shows from time ago. I'd love to see either back in the NYC space, or maybe on a tour.
I enjoy the idea of smaller revivals in off broadway houses, I think it'll be a good business prospect and good for the industry overall.

Heathers closes in November, so even if Bee were to extend, the next block would probably put them to around that same time.
It could run for quite some time with some decent stunt casting. There are plenty of character actors in their 20s and 30s out there who could step into these roles, not to mention Panch, which is a pretty small lift.
However, even with the current cast, the theatre was still about 25% empty in the orchestra for yesterday’s matinee - which is concerning.
