I lived in NYC a solid 7 years and the only time I ever ventured into the Times Square area was when I went to see shows. Never walked thru Times Square and walked 8th Avenue to get to the theatre, only crossing thru if theatre was on the east side. Before moving to NYC, I visited the city several times each year and same scenario - avoided that s**t hole tourist vortex of Times Square. Even as a kid during the 1970s, I hated Times Square and knew it was the tourist dump section of Manhattan.

So this has very little meaningful difference from Ellen's Stardust and it is also a block away from it? Alright.

Times Square is disgusting.
And if the food is better than Ellen's, which wouldn't be very difficult, it could make a go of it.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
