Liza will be in a show, that's the musical adaptation of a novel, which re-told the story of a movie her mom (Judy Garland) was in. And if she joins the tour, she'll be playing oppostie someone who's last big contract was perfomring as Liza Minelli.
How could she play Morrible, there's no singing. But wait...she sounds like a frog now anyway and well...you get the idea. Liza was great in her heyday but after her medical ordeal, I don't know, she seems really nice and really happy, but her voice...it went down the toilet.
This seems like nothing more then internet gossip to me. There has never been any kind of hint from anyone officially involved in the production, and the insurance premium to include Liza in the show would be in the millions.
You mean Stephanie right, radioactive duck??? I haven't seen anything officially stating that she's going to Broadway with Elphie after the tour - did I just miss it??????? Updated On: 11/16/05 at 07:27 PM
there was also a rumor that Britney Spears was going to star in Wicked on this board...why believe that crap? i think Liza would never wanna be involved with Wicked. We are talking about Broadway's queen here.

I agree with Muscle23 but I don't think Liza necessarily dislikes, many people on this board have said that she loves the show...I don't know how reliable they are.

yes...i hope Eden gets the gig...and tnks for the support...im usually used to getting insults after i express my opinions...LOL....anyhow...when i went to see "see what i wanna see" after i woke up and walked to the lobby...i saw that Eden Espinosa was in the audience, she was very nice to me...i was the only one that recognized her though.

I was told that Liza has seen the show multiple times. And there is that slight connection to the material. I am still holding out for her to play Elphaba and Lorna to play Glinda.
Pretty pretty please don't you ever ever feel like you're less than f**ckin' perfect!

Has anyone met Liza? just wondering...by the way...whoever said she can't sing...she sounded great in concert less than a month ago.

That was me and uh...I didn't say she can't. I just said she didn't sound so great. I still think she was great in her early years, but she isn't so wonderful now. Guess it's the age.
Muscle23:"when i went to see "see what i wanna see" after i woke up"-LOL. Liza's voice is in good shape but in my opinion her voice is not as magnificent as it used to be; however, she's a great actress. I wonder if she can pull of Fosse's choreography because she'd be more at home in the Chicago revival than in Wicked.
