I would bet Christopher has some sort of out (he’s only a temporary Washington) - surely they can find someone to take over for the October portion of his tenure and it wouldn’t affect sales.
Little Shop wouldn’t really be able to survive with three weeks of understudy leads

Is it really Sherie? Someone posted what they think is the source photo for the outline. Is it worth getting tickets tonight before they're announced. Is this a pretty sure thing?

I didn’t think it could ever get better than Evan Rachel Wood but if it is Sherie, she easily could be the best this revival has had so far.

They start rehearsal 10/1. Nick is not leaving Hamilton early.
They're there until at least January.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

This show has around 1,400+ performances til now. I know the original production lasted 2,209 performances.
How many Off-Broadway productions of musicals ran as much as those two? Like, over 1,000 performances. I love those stats, but can't find much on the internet about Off-Broadway shows.

Always difficult to find that kind of information compiled for Off-Broadway.
I believe The Fantasticks is the longest running. 17,162 performances across 42 years.
Perfect Crime ran for over 13,000 performances. Not sure what their exact final count was.
Blue Man Group and Stomp would also be up there.

There is no final count for Perfect Crime- it is (somehow) still running.
And Fantasticks was also revived several years after the original production closed, and that ran close to 4.4k performances.

Just popping in to say that Andrew Barth Feldman and Sarah Hyland were absolutely terrific in this. Both funny, wonderful singers, and they have dramatic chops too. Great show.

Scott and Christopher are supremely talented, but having Seymour and Audrey be in their 40's/50's is an odd choice.

I don’t know, I think both characters being middle aged adds a bit of poignancy to their desperation. Their lives have been so dead end for so long, and then finally something happens to turn it all around when they’ve both lost hope. It could add stakes for both of them.
