The first 3 of those came out before the rule-change about being "written for the theatre" and the "classics" rule.
Before that rule-change, it was a lawless time where basically anything new-to-Broadway was deemed eligible for Best Score, such as TOMMY, GIGI, SEVEN BRIDES, and the extremely-posthumous noms/wins for R&H (State Fair), T.S. Eliot (Cats), and perhaps most egregiously Scott Joplin (Treemonisha, nominated 60 years after his death).
