Her replacement has reportedly signed an 8-month contract, and will hand off Anne for the understudies to alternate (think Sweeney before Tveit and Foster) for a few weeks before Clarkson’s stint during the show’s home stretch.
Idk why but I have a hunch that 8-month Anne is Caroline Bowman. It doesn't explain why she had to leave Frozen a week before the tour closes, but just a gut feeling.

Gives her a good break from the tour before she hops into the show. Great hunch!
Drew Gehling feels like he’ll be a great Shakespeare. For all the talk of gimmicky casting to come (which I fully believe could all still be in the works), the show has done a lovely job casting great broadway talents in the Shakespeare, Nurse, and Lance parts.
I suspect our new Romeo, Frankie, and May will all be young, fresh talent. And I’ll almost definitely be seeing the show again at least another time (to catch folks before they’re gone) or two (to see the new performers).
For some reason I thought Teal Wicks was going to replace Betsy, so now I’m curious who that will be.
My father (AIDS)
My sister (AIDS)
My uncle and my cousin and her best friend (AIDS, AIDS, AIDS)
The gays and the straights
And the white and the spades
I was at the Saturday mat, which I guess was his second performance. Before seeing this thread I actually didn't know he was that new in the role. I thought he was great.
I hadn't seen the show since a few weeks after opening. It's in very good shape and I really enjoyed it. Most of all Betsy remains an absolute delight!

I’m curious if they decided not to renew Betsy’s contract, or she chose not to. She is the heart and soul of & Juliet, and whomever replaces her has big shoes to fill.
Jeanna would be fab. I know Taylor Louderman has an on/off again relationship with Broadway but I also think she'd be super funny in this part and sing the hell out of it.
