So I just saw Rent for the first time last night and Oh MY GOD!! It was unbelievable. I am in love!!! I knew I loved the music but after seeing it it's so much more effective. It was the national tour and it came to my city and performed at the playhouse where we do all our shows so it was really cool. Roger was so amazing! Has anyone else seen this tour and agrees with me that it's just as good as anything on Broadway? I'm in love tehe
There are a ton of people here who agree with you that the current touring cast is at the top of their game. So much talent and so much energy. And yes, Dan Rosenbaum who plays Roger is amazing, the best I've seen!
I know exactly how you feel. Had a similar experience in October. Will NEVER forget it.
But now we have come almost to the end. One last step. And then, when I take power, they will be pulled down and ground into dirt for what they did to you. And what they did in so contemptuously underestimating me.
I want to ask. As first Rent experience, can you hear the lyrics clearly? My first rent is a mess. I totally lost the story. The orchestra is so loud and noisy that I cannot hear the lyrics and understand what was going on. I had to listen to the cast recording and figure out the story. Then in my second rent experience, I finally enjoyed the show.
