Hard to quantify, since a person using TDF for a Wednesday matinee and a person using TodayTix for a Saturday night will have wildly different experiences... the app does let you pick the area where you want to sit, so you it is often not just "orchestra," but could be broken down into different segments.
Just gunna throw it out there cause why not, but you can still get an additional $10 off with the code FATIB for any of the tickets you buy on the app!
I've used them 3 times for tickets - and always satisfied with the seat locations.
If you want to give them a try, my code VZYST gets a $10 discount .....

I like it because with Broadway Box and most of the other discount sites, you still have to pay all of those crazy surcharges from Ticketmaster and Telecharge. I have no problem paying the "concierge fee" if it means I can bypass them. And I can't always get over to the box office, so I've found it to be really convenient. I also like that you can enter lotteries on there and have them alert you when they have tickets to shows that aren't currently listed. I'm more likely to use TDF simply because I support their mission, but I like Today Tix as an alternative.
