Re: Hadestown Coming to Apple TV Next!

Its not streaming anywhere (yet), just for rent/purchase.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

That's great news, Come From Away is also there and it's an incredibly well done production. It's still a hit (Waitress, Bandstand) or miss (Merrily, Hamilton) with some, but for the most part pro-shots just keep getting better and better. This one was extraordinary.

I hope it’s not an Apple TV+ exclusive because they’re very averse to releasing their catalogue on DVD/Blu-Ray. Killers of the Flower Moon is the only exception I can think of.

CODA and Greyhound are also out on physical media, but yeah, Apple typically sucks at that. I'm glad Hadestown isn't going to be an Apple exclusive for that reason.

It's just a storefront, its available anywhere you can buy/rent streaming films. How much they make from each individual storefront agreement is irrelevant because its more than zero and you're not getting a cut either way.
