HERE THERE ARE BLUEBERRIES premiering on Broadway this fall

It may be that they have an extension built in if there's demand. Or the Barrymore is spoken for after January 11.

I missed this downtown so I'm looking forward to seeing it.

Surprised it's a short run.. I'd expect it to get extended.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

When I saw this at NYTW two years ago, I said two things:

1. There’s absolutely no way this doesn’t end up on Broadway at some point

2. Should this cast transfer with it, Elizabeth Stahlmann (and you’re gonna wanna remember that name) is definitely getting a TONY nomination and honestly could very much win

glad I was right about the first, here’s hoping the second comes true as well!

Oh I LOVED this downtown. Wasn’t expecting this at all, but I’m so happy it’s getting a wider audience. It plays with your mind about how the monsters really are just men and women like you and me.

You could write the exact same post in the DOWNSTATE thread ;)

If it hasn't been announced by now, it's not happening.

Despite their acclaim and quality, I have my doubts about how both this and Downstate will fare on Broadway without some kind of big name attached, which is a sad reflection on the state of things these days. It's not unlikely that one will follow a similar path as Liberation last season, flopping hard but managing to win Best Play, but that's still kind of a bummer.

If they can’t get Elizabeth Stahlmann for Blueberries, i’d love to see Mikey Madison

I'm just hoping we get some more musical announcements to equally balance things out, cause so far this season I'm seeing way more plays than musicals.

With all that said the plays that have been confirmed or have yet to confirm deal with some very controversial themes. Blueberries deals with the Holocaust, Birthright deals with zionism, Gloria with mass shootings, Downstate with sex criminals, and The Goat (or Who is Sylvia?) with..well google it
