Good question. There is no mention of Sweeney in the printed Playbill, although it is mentioned in his bio on the Chess website. https://chessbroadway.com/cast

Putting this in the previews thread to not bog down the "reviews" one. I am just dreaming or thinking outside the box.

So, since Florence "is a chess guru, best of the best, Freddie's second" wouldn't it have been SCANDALOUS if when Freddie/Freddy (??) dropped out they pushed Florence into his place... She "playing against" her new boo.... ooooh wee.....scandaloso? Sounds fun to me.

Yes!!! After 40 years I now learned-- (thanks narrator Bryce) that she is a Chess guru/expert; I always thought she was just a PR sort of person. I don't know jack about chess (or care to know) but apparently she is a Chess expert. If they pitted her against Anatoly it would have been delicious!!!! Florence pitted against her new boo thang.

Wondered how the question was formed so yes I would think it would be more than what show is being revived on Broadway.

Former contestant here. Because Jeopardy is filmed in sequences of five (one week of shows) per day, they will tape 2 or 3 days in a week, every other week since they share production staff with Wheel of Fortune (on the same lot). On average, unless interrupted by a holiday break or tournaments, the typical tape-to-air turnaround is roughly 6-8 weeks.
