Amazon delay of "Chess" cd - anyone else have an issue?

I went in and checked and it is giving "buying options" with different delivery dates for the CD. Checked the vinyl and it came up with a delivery date of September 11th.

Thanks. I wonder if Amazon ran out? The last week or so, it's been showing as the #1 seller for Cast Recordings/Soundtracks. Just have to wait until it arrives at my house.

This is just anecdotal, but I've encountered a lot of delays on Amazon pre-orders lately. I ordered physical media of Disclosure Day, Is God Is, and The Sheep Detectives and all have been delayed by a factor of months. I wouldn't be surprised if it's related to some supply chain/Tariff BS from the idiot in the White House.

That's based on pre-orders not actual sales. That's why you state you saw this mentioned last week or so when the CD was slated for release on Sept 4 - today.Think about it, how can they have run out last week or so on an item that is released today? "

Correct, that's based on pre-sale orders. I was just wondering what the issue might be, as its first for me to have an item either run out, get delayed, etc. The email from Amazon didn't indicate the cause of the delay.

Several times, I've had items arrive before the release date. Was crossing my fingers to have been lucky with the "Chess" cd. Jaclyn Smith's autobiography is being released on Tuesday, 9/8. According to Amazon, it was shipped out yesterday, and I'll be receiving it tomorrow.
