Under the right direction.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Honestly: Michael Arden would crush it. Let's get that Cynthia/Ariana/Jonathan revival directed by Arden. Fall 2028.

Whitney White, Saheem Ali, Robert O'Hara, Jamal Sims, Stevie Walker-Webb... so many choices that could be a wonderful choice.
This would be ripe for the Encores taking without the Disney connection. But with a solid trio could be really great.
And of course selfishly, I want a Kayla Davion Aida. It's all I can hear in my head!

I hear Disney parted with Shel sometime ago. Arden should not be directing this musical (or be allowed to) in this climate.
Kayla Davion would be sublime. If only she could sell it.

I think it seems like a job for Diane Paulus. There’s no one better at doing a big splashy musical revival.
