er....um, so only dark musicals? according to the name of the site......
so I went to your site and read this: A place to discuss the famous Austrian musical about Kaiserin Sisi, the last empress of the Habsburg dynasty who had fallen in love with Death
first of all, her name was Kaiserin Elisabeth, Sisi was a pet name that only the family used....she would never have been called Kaiserin Sisi by anyone.
And sorry, but Zita (pictured above) was the last Austian Empress. Wife of the last Austrian Emperor, Charles 1. I had the honor of seeing the former Empress in my teens
Regina, married to Otto, Zita's eldest son would now be Empress if the empire still existed
is this a fluke, or is more of the information on your site incorrect.
I am part Austrian, and truly, historical accuracy is easy to maintain
I considered joining...and then I saw the thread in the Sweeney Todd section about "making it better", to which the reply was adding powerful ballads that work in and out of context of the show. No comment.
Elphaba - That section actually originally read "A musical about the last empress of the Hapsburg Dynasty and her romance with death". One of my comods seems to think she can improve upon everything I do. I actually hadn't noticed that it had been changed. Thanks for mentioning that.
the "Dark Musical" name actually reflects the site's origins. It was originally just a forum for fans of Frank Wildhorn's Dracula, and "Dark Musical" seemed like a better name for it than "Chi's Dracula Forum". A bunch of other musicals got added to the site as it evolved.
