The Convicted Felon is snorting (again) that he may withdraw from the September 10th debate with soon-to-be President Harris.

He's a sexual abuser with no balls, afraid to stand onstage with a strong, smart woman..

Trump was onstage with Hillary Clinton in 2016 for a couple of debates. Are you trying to say she was not a strong and smart woman? I am asking for a friend -lol

I think she did a nice job, but Trump stuck to his themes; illegal immigration, crime, inflation, no wars.  He can’t be underestimated, but overall I don’t think it moves the needle

Harris has repeatedly exceeded my expectations. Her performance has already been called the best debate of the modern era. And the ABC moderators put the pathetic Dana Bash and Jake Tapper to shame. I guess ABC isn't okay with airing unchecked lies. Trump honestly started out well but Harris hates him and the true narcissist came out.

I thought she was a little bit too smiley and even whiney at times.  I wanted more fire and firmness from her.

Anyone who supports Trump at this point deserves to have a bullet put in their skull.

I mean, if someone suggests they should literally be dead because of who they vote for I think they should be outraged. But I know kdogg was not being literal and intentionally provocative.

I think Kamala might have probably just ‘won’ the debate if there was a winner and is probably the lesser of two evils, but I do think as usual it’s troubling that these are apparently the two best options. So I would understand why someone might vote for Trump given these options and that doesn’t even mean they like Trump.

At this point, Kamala’s policy positions have changed so much it’s impossible to know what people are voting for. Is she the centrist she now claims to be or is she more to the left as she was in the past?

Trump doesn’t really have clear policy positions it’s more speaking in bold vision/aspiration and there might not be any substance to back this up.

At this point it’s a personality contest and a vote for either the republican machine or the democratic machine. Are we really confident that either machine can lead us in these times? I’m not. Feels like we are just edging towards further decline at best or ww3 at worst. I hope I’m wrong.

There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022) "Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. I hate that they picked September 10 as the date to debate because now all of the morning news shows are talking about the debate instead of making today a day of remembrance like it always has been.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

This is such a tired argument. "Is this the best we can do?" As if you're marrying them. There's no such thing as a "Best" candidate. It's a chasing the dragon goal people use to not engage in the process. Those people would rather be in (in their minds) be "right" as opposed to actually obtain power to affect change. So they can continue to be the "outsider".

After this and saying you understand why people would vote for him even if they don't like him is silly... after "Migrants are eating your pets." "Transgender Operations on Illegal Aliens in Prison" "Executing babies after birth" ? This is purely just from last night. I'm sorry, but those people are dumb. They are VERY dumb. The reason we can very rarely cement lasting change is because we do this same song and dance every 4 years with the same stupid undecided voters that this election always comes down to because of their own narcissism and enjoyment of being the Belle of the Ball who gets all the attention.

The USA is the most important and influential country in the western world, and maybe the whole world. The cultural and political influence is immeasurable - so yes obviously I pay close attention and engage in these discussions even if I won’t be voting. And yes you all (maybe not actually you) I can’t remember who) dismissed me for suggesting that Hillary could lose to Trump in 2016 when I said she was the wrong primary choice. Well I wasn’t completely wrong then, was I? And more recently yes it was cringeworthy to watch people defend whether Biden was well enough to run again when it was very clear he was not well enough to do so as anyone with a brain could see. So I don’t believe that everyone here looks at these issues objectively enough to be right all the time either.

I think it’s silly you’d call out the absurdity of things like the eating pets crap when there are obviously important serious differences that do matter. For example, I don’t think it’s uncontroversial that the Afghanistan withdrawal was a complete and utter fiasco and yes it does make me slightly uneasy whether the democratic machine is equipped for some of these foreign policy decisions if that is what happens (and you can blame Trump for setting it up but he didn’t make the final call for what happened). Which affects everyone else in the world because it’s not just your own safety or domestic issues by definition of being foreign policy. In some ways it feels undemocratic that the USA president who is almost the president of the world in terms of power is elected without consultation of the rest of the world (I realise this is completely impractical so no need to suggest so I recognise it’s impossible).

Look, I’m sure it’ll be fine because Kamala and team are capable enough but I honestly believe this ridiculous culture we live in now where people can’t even discuss any of these issues and are so confident in every idea and conclusion they have is also partly why we have this mess. Along with the attempted shame of anyone that doesn’t fall in line with whatever the mass culture tells us how to think at the time (which changes frequently). I’m also a bit sick to death of how rude people try to be here when it’s clear that I only try and discuss in good faith and appreciate those that are willing to discuss. You can ignore me too of course and I find that preferable.

Given your word vomit and defensiveness, it's clear you don't live here and you are not an American Voter. That's all I needed regarding your "opinion" on our Democracy considering a year ago you denied the existence of Racism in the UK, and told people they were being ridiculous. I wonder what these men would say about that. Despicable.

The fact that there are still a somewhat significant amount of undecided voters at this juncture is mind boggling, even before his incoherent performance last night.

Maybe it's our collective short-term memory at work here, or the fact that many of the mainstream outlets like the New York Times and The Washington Post seem bent on 'normalizing' him, but the simple fact of the matter is that Trump pushed to ignore the will of the voters and he lead an attempt to overthrow the government. Even worse, he's the only president to not only be impeached twice, but also indicted and convicted. That alone should give voters pause - especially voters in the swing states whose votes he tried to throw out in 2020.

To try and frame this race as a 'both sides have their issues' argument is a grave mistake. Only one side is actively planning to take more of Americans' rights away, staff the federal government with loyalists, take direct control of the justice department, and push a nationwide conservative ideology in schools.

To me, the choice is very clear.

You don’t need to live in the US to vote. Citizens can vote all around the globe, at the local embassy or consulate. Even if you just happen to be on vacation.

Sutton Foster you are literally lying now or confused. When did I ever say there was no racism in the UK? That is actually ridiculous and very frustrating for you to say. There is racism in all countries in the world. I have no idea what you are referring to - but if you are disingenuously suggesting that a discussion on a particular topic about the nature of racism in the UK, or actions intended to address racism in the UK, is the same thing as saying there is no racism in the UK then you’re being ridiculous. I don’t believe that even you are that stupid and I think you are better than that. And as I have always said, and is clear from my posts and anyone that reads them, I always engage in good faith in all discussions. If you don’t want to read what I say I’d rather you ignore me or block me than be a disingenuous rude person. It is a waste of your time and my time.

I don’t believe that all Trump supporters deserve to be exterminated. I try to remind myself that many (most?) of his voters are just plain stupid. That’s not their fault… right? They have little capacity to withstand the torrent of lies and propaganda. These people actually believe that FoxNews is “news”. Sad.
