Stupid TDF Question
 Mar 22 2011, 08:36:31 PM
We use my credit card to buy tickets all the time, although the TDF membership is in my daughter's name.

Also, just to feel more comfortable about it, you can add a secondary billing name/address in the account maintenance section - we have our same address repeated as the secondary but with BOTH mine and my daughter's names - just so it matches the credit card, if that matters.

But I know people can buy tickets with a totally unrelated name/card too, as CockeyedOptimist2 menti

Checked at the box office the other night and they said that even the premiums are sold out on 10/3 (not that I could have afforded that anyway!). Have tried the cancellation line a couple of times - guessing correctly that Kiril would be on - and may try one more time this week!!

We were thrilled that we ended up seeing Robi Hager instead of N.G.Funk - great voice and a fantastic dancer. If he were just an inch or two taller, he'd be my totally ideal Conrad.

Wondering what was with the 1960's/Laugh-In set and the 1950's (hugely) crinolined dresses?

Well, we saw Tommy replace Kiril after intermission about a month and a half ago!

It's such a strenuous show, I guess that switching of Billy's mid-show is not all that unusual?

Would love to see Kiril in Act II before he leaves, though . . . any guesses on what show he'll perform this week before Sat night?

Clearly younger casting - I saw Erin Davie as Anne just half a year ago at White Plains Performing Arts Center and she was fantastic. Now I'm just trying to imagine her as Charlotte . . .

Very excited for this production!

Bye Bye Birdie Audition

Sorry - didn't mean to imply that all the people going to callbacks were high schoolers - I was just passing on the info I had about the callbacks from the open call (also re the "local" question), based on the people we know (and we admittedly don't know too many college students).

Good luck to all who have callbacks!

A good number of my daughter's friends received callbacks yesterday - they are all true teenagers (not a one over 17), and all local. Some girls got Kim sides and are going back today; others receive Urusula sides and are going back in a couple of weeks. Boys, too, some going today and some going back mid-April (Hugo sides).
