Totally incredible performance, I've never seen anything like it. The truth and honesty and love he brings to it is beyond compare. I saw this last week with Michael C Hall and that felt like a tribute by comparison! He seems to go off script more than Michael did and he's just amazing. Sorry this isn't too eloquent, still blown away by one of the best nights in the theatre I've ever had.

I'd recommend going to Broadway sessions, I was over from britain last week and went to it and it was the highlight of my trip. They had 4 leading ladies singing amazingly and also musical trivia and open mic, well worth checking out http://broadwaysessions.net/

Isn't it time for a new category like 'best child actor' as most seasons have shows with kids in it and it doesn't seem fair to put kids up against adults

I saw this last night, got a single rush and ended up on the end of the front row which was a perfect view. I agree this is very derivative (full monty, priscilla, billy elliot, set looked like Sweeney, also random Once irish bar moment) but it's fun and will appeal to the masses, it's certainly no contender for Matilda. I would say I probably enjoyed Hard body a bit more because it was slightly less predictable. One thing I haven't seen anyone mention and it could be just because I'm a Brit on
