Marianne Elliot hopes to make a COMPANY film

Exactly. Assume that is the case. And frankly, with a screen adaptation, they could get the script tweaks that held back any of that twist not working on stage. But count me in the camp that found it not only worked, but made the piece f

Do we even know if, in her caption/statement, the second and third sentences are related? She could be saying her next part if this other one, not her in the biopic, but that she's excited about the biopic because Chu.

Great numbers and the seating chart for the rest of the shows very few seats under $300. Lucked out and found a couple of $170 seats, but that looks like a bargain now.

I heard back in the spring even they had the theatre for an open run, but not sure what their plan is for Cole and cast to extend or replace or what.

I will say, if Cole is in the show next June, they've a real shot at some Ton

I've also never forgotten how the list is titles "Song I Wish I Wrote (At Least in Part)", with that last "at least in part" doing characteristically triple work. The list is in part, he partly wishes he wrote it, and/or parts of the song he wishes he had written. Clever and exact, as always.

Was there a whiff of this before? Seems a surprise to me personally.

I would have to imagine anything being shown at this point will be in a pretty unfinished state. There may be studio concerns about the film overall and they’re trying to gauge what needs to

Isn't she referencing the Judy film? Because the recent miniseries must be HALSTON.

I've heard the same. Not happening this season. Really Useful doesn't want two ALW revivals competing.

Last I heard, London was being discussed, prior to Bway the following season. Even heard the National as a possibility, though I admit I didn't understand that since Webber owns theatres he must prefer using.

Seconded. Saw it OffBway and want to again, but with these steep prices, I'd prefer one of these, especially given they're ~$100 as it is!

Broadway Bares Hit the Strip Sunday

SeanD2 said: "Sorry, in 2024 I have no interest in the objectification of the human body to raise money. Between promoting body shaming and creating an environment where assault is possible (DC's equivalent fundraiser had to be shut down due to the behavior of organizers towards participants), it's just not an event BCEFA should continue to hold or benefit from. There are much safer and more inclusive ways BCEFA can raise money."

People are allowed to consent to their bodies being objectified. That's allowed, and I wouldn't want to live in a society where that was forbidden because you don't like it.

First of all, stripping is still a profession. (It's 2024 and "Sex work is real work." So, doing it for charity seems wonderful to me.

Slave Play. Not a movie. A play.

Surprised to hear he's pulling the same stunts he did with theatres in town. Well, I guess not so surprised.

It's definitely selling well, and those tickets ain't cheap! I think the curiosity and word-of-mouth gimmick factor cant be ignored on this one. If it's good, it could be a big commercial hit.

Performances at the 2024 Tony Awards

I mean, Stereophonic pulling a rare play win for Score with no performance is akin to the lack of a Bette performance in 2017. It'll go down as a baffling decision.

Glad to hear it might perform.
