I hated the music when I saw the show, but I thought the show was okay. I got the CD, and I adore it. I can't stop listening to it. I think the best songs are (and by best I mean most enjoyable - not exceptional writing)

Posted: 5/8/05 at 6:08amI have to say that I love "Bright Side of Life" Tim Curry style... And the Broadway Song... I kind of love it all... although I don't think Brave Sir Robin was all that great... what played well on a TV screen didn't QUITE translate to stage... it was a little small... But really, I love them all

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

Posted: 5/8/05 at 1:08pmHaving seen the show and not listened to the CD, the two songs that really stick out in my mind are the Broadway song and thr Finale. Also, as a musician, I was impressed with the orchestrations. The guys in the pit must be having fun with their parts.

Every time Not Dead Yet comes on, I start bouncing, literally bouncing. It's a very upbeat sort of song... my friend did the Charleston to it.
I also like Diva's Lament, Succeed...Bway, The Song That Goes Like This, Find Your Grail... oh, heck, I like everything.

was listening to this on the subway last night with a friend and Sra Ramirez is just.. WOW. I was shocked at what she does and have found a new diva to listen to.
I must also say that anything involving Sieber gets bonus points in my book. LOVE the Sieber.
