I thought the pinky thing was cute. I am slowly starting to like Kendra more, but during the performance if I wasn't watching Steph I was looking for Katie Adams in the ensemble. I wish she would have done Glinda, but oh well. The space was limited so I think this performance was really off. Kind of dissapointing.
And Gary Busey freaks me out, and it was nothing less than crazy on the show tonight, too.
I didn't hear about the performance ahead of time, so it wasn't until they announced it at the beginning of the show that I found out.
My sister said the whole scene looked much different than when we saw it on Broadway, but it may just be because it was on a smaller/different stage from a different angle.
The sound was absolutely horrible. I know it sucks for the ensemble members, but the lead's mics should be up higher than theirs, especially when they're the only ones singing the verse.
Kendra seemed a bit off. She doesn't have the same high, ditzy sound that the other Glindas I've heard. Not that it's bad, it's just different than what I'm used to.
I also went through the whole schpeal to my sister about how Stephanie Block was hurt, but then she came out to perform anyway. I was kinda thankful because I'd wanted to hear her, and because I listened to Brooklyn earlier and my ears were still ringing from Eden.

Wanting life but never

late response but I have to put in my two cents: 1) I too saw Kendra stumble and I even said it outloud to my friends "did y'all see her almost fall?" but she did play it off well. 2) I don't think I like Kendra's voice at all -- I wasn't impressed by it and I don't think they harmonized well at times
was emily rozek (the other glind understudy) the one with the red, double beehive looking wig?
