Posted: 6/30/03 at 12:26pmI wish I was going! I loved Aida. I'm all the way in Ohio. I am hoping before I graduate in 2006 I will make it to NYC! I am planning on going to college there. I wanna be a lighting designer on Broadway. If I did live there, I would see every show!

Posted: 6/30/03 at 12:35pmCan't wait for your review Rob- I'm very skeptical of her as Aida. Love her music- but not sure she is right for that roll. I hope i'm wrong - I love Aida and would hate for her to ruin it. On the other hand very excited to see Mandy and Will in it.

Posted: 6/30/03 at 4:37pmShe sang a little bit of "The Gods Love Nubia" on the Tony preshow. Her voice was unbelievably low, and she said that everything will have to be transposed for her to make it lower. I think the show, and the music will lose a lot from this.
