pair-o-dice ~ absolutely hilarious! I thought that my group of friends and I were the only people to see By Jeeves. At the end I was like "What in the name of God is going on here, and why is everyone wearing costumes from The Wizard of Oz?" Totally terrible...though it is ALW, so what could we expect!

My choices, as I've listed on here before, are Brooklyn and Bombay Dreams. Both are tied, in my opinion, for the worst show ever put on a stage.

As for productions that were terrible, the most recent one that I've walked out on was the NYU Fall 2004 production of Sweeney Todd. I thought that NYU was supposed to be good for musical theater...little did I know.

Have a great day!

TOMMY - the bus and truck

They couldn't even hold up the mirror "slivers" before the actual mirror got smashed-scene where fat tinsle confetti rained down clearing my glossed over eyes.

They kept trickling down. I was like, "Oh F*ck, I hate this"

Blood Brothers, SF Tour....Petula Clark and BOTH of the Cassidy brothers. Terrible story that couldn't keep my interest past intermission and none of the leads were doing well. Nobody seemed like they wanted to be there.

Oklahoma, Grease, The Music Man...
They were fine the first 5 times around, but when everyone and their brother has Curly Oklahoma on a resume, one's gotta wonder...
Overdone shows, terrible talent.

"Do you know what pledge time is, Andrew"? said the PBS Executive. "Yes", Lloyd Webber replied. "My 50th birthday special must be one program that gets done a lot." "No", mused the man from PBS heedlessy. "Not so much. Our Stephen Sondheim Carnegie Hall concert. That's a big one." Spoons, forks and knives seemed suddenly to suspend their motion in horror, all around the table.

Oh please!

Wait till you all sit in a little hole-in-the-wall theatre and have to endure the 'art' of people who think they deserve to be famous. Holy sh*t!

As for Broadway (since it seems we're focusing on that), I'd have to go with THE RED SHOES.

HOLY, HOLY SH*T!

I'll limit my choices to those shows that I saw on Broadway or the West End. I've seen a lot of show I didn't like; but these are my least favorite:

CATS (just hate seeing adults prancing around like kids or animals), and the whole thing was a mind-numbing bore.

MARY POPPINS (lots or professional effort; but the end result was dreary and depressing. Couldn't wait for it to end, so I could go home and watch the masterpiece that is the film.)

SUNSET BLVD. (garish over-the-top nightmare, with Glenn Close's alleged singing (I call it screeching) and acting with the finesse of a sledgehammer)

I cannot believe anyone has not mentioned this show yet...

I saw the worlds worst show EVER....

COPACABANA.

I sat there with my mouth open the whole time. And the sad thing is I enjoy Barry and I liked the London Cast Recording...but then I saw it. I was in such shock. I was not sure what was worse, the fact that I paid 100 bucks to see it with a date, that the show ruined the date completely, or the fact that show was just that bad.

I wish Rico had just taken out (shot) Lola and Tony.

I really did not care for the show '1776'.

Broadway - GRAND HOTEL with John Schneider and Liliane Montevecchi Total crap on a grand scale. Oh, what was the point of the clanging silverware?

West End - TIME with David Cassidy He creaked worse than the set.

Tour - SONG & DANCE with Melissa Manchester. You know Patti LuPone's story of THE BAKER'S WIFE in Washington? Only four people in the audience and they didn't have sense enough to sit in the same row? That was our experience at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans. We at least moved down from the last row of the balcony, but it didn't make Ms. Manchester any better.

Please don't kill me, but...Les Mis. I need my dialogue. I can't have characters singing their way through their lines on the same two notes over and over again.

Oh, and to be seen...Joseph. The tunes are catchy, but do they really fit together to make a musical? Not really.

The most recent: Little Women.

Not only does nothing work in this show but the very heart and soul of the source material have been eviscerated and ground into dust.
A non-starter.

It figures....I loved Little Women.
