Most of his standup is hysterical. But this show looked like a tacky Vegas cabaret. It was so cheesy.
And when he sang and talked politics i wanted to purge.
He is very anti gay. He is also pro BUSH.
My skin was crawling and I was so offended by his show.
Also his singing. DREADFUL. He made Harvey sound like one of the three tenors.
The man should stick to comedy. No singing please.

Posted: 1/18/05 at 6:51pmWonderful Town drove me nuts. Also, I greatly disliked The Producers the 2nd time around. (I was sick, and Gary Beach was out...AHH! He was who I loved the most in it.)

Posted: 1/18/05 at 6:56pmFor me it's a tossup between "Mamma Mia" and "The Lion King." Actually, "Mamma Mia" wins, because I did enjoy parts of "The Lion King"; the opening number and Scar's scenes (all thanks to Patrick Page). Plus, it's a pretty show (great sets, costumes, puppets). "Mamma Mia" didn't even have *that* going for it.

The worst show I've ever seen was probably Hans Christian Andersen in SF (at A.C.T.).
On Broadway, Sweet Smell of Success, hands down.

At least they were straight foward.
I walked out after Act 1.
