I am planning a trip with my parents, and wanted some opinions on what to see. Here is what I have already seen:
Hairspray
Wicked
Avenue Q
Rent
42nd Street
Beauty and the Beast
Lion King
Movin' Out
The Producers

So what do you think? What are the best broadway, or off broadway options, I will be there from june 17-20. So I can go to shows on the 17/18/19th.

Thanks Evereyone!!!

Assassins should be a good choice if you're open to it.

The Boy From Oz is a mediocrity with great performances and a spectacular star turn that turn it into a fun evening.

The Normal Heart is supposed to be excellent, so I second that reccomendation.

You might also think about seeing Wonderful Town, Chicago, I Am My Own Wife, or Frozen.

"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel

Go see Match and Prymate, and report back. You'll have the theater to yourself.

I love Phantom of the Opera! It's the only show I've gotten the chance to see on Broadway, since I live far away and am poor :) But, it's an absolutely incredible show and has a little bit of everything. It's a favorite of people I know who have seen a lot of shows on Broadway. I can definitely recommend it!
