Lucky Alex G is going to be Valjean soon, but what about the rest of this incredibly talented cast? What's on their plates next? I'm surprised no one has snatched up Mano for their next show yet.
I realized that this might not be the popular opinion here but I wasn't all that impressed with the supporting cast of Sweeney with the exception of Beadle and Judge Turpin.
Manoel has a lovely voice but I don't find him very charismatic. I actually found him rather distracting in Sweeney with all his jumping around and other sideline antics.
I also didn't like Lauren Molina as an actress/singer. I thought she was the weakest of the whole cast. She's just not an actress.
I'm told Felciano turned down a role in THE PIRATE QUEEN. Not sure what he is up to next. They are a very talented cast, and hopefully this show will further all of their careers. They should be good as long as John Doyle is in vogue. I wouldn't at all be surprised if some ended up as standbys for COMPANY.
While I can't wait to see Raul and am sure that he is beyond amazing...I would be very interested to see Mano's Bobby. Maybe if Raul took a vacation for a week Mano could come in a la Judy Kaye?
RIP Natasha Richardson. ~You were a light on this earth ~

Just my .02."
I'm not surprised at all that ^ was written by a new person.
Mano is more than welcome to come hang out with me for a while! :)
Seriously, I am sure they will all have much success...the show showed them off as such diverse actors. Patti is a household name and I am sure Michael is not far behind!
Jack: For your information, most people who meet me do not know that I am gay.
Will: Jack, blind and deaf people know you're gay. Dead people know you're gay.
Jack: Grace, when you first met me, did you know I was gay?
Grace: My dog knew.
I agree that Mano could probably replace Raul in Company, and would be fierce, but that wouldn't be the smartest career move - two John Doyle Sondheims in a row? I'm thinking he'll be in high demand after receiving the reviews he did for this show.
Donna Lynne is doing Flight of the Lawnchair Man at NYMF, we'll see if that goes any further than it has already.
I'd like to see Molina replace Elena Shaddow on the Piazza tour.
Actually, if she doesn't mind me posting, Sporkgoddess has mentioned the idea that she came up with of Lauren Molina as Buttercup in the upcoming musical of The Princess Bride, which I think sounds terrific.
So, that idea is copyrighted to her. Haha.
Shari Lewis: Did you ever wish upon a star?
Lamb Chop: I once asked Mr. Rogers for his autograph.
it still might be opened then...I wouldn't put money on it but I know Michael and Patti are contracted through Thanksgiving so hopefully it can just make it till then.

I don't see Lauren so much as Amy - then again, I've never really heard her lower register. April might be an interesting fit, though, or - if she could sing it - Marta.
