I think ALW was smart to realize much of his original score for Aspects was too densely lush/romantic for that story and would work better for Phantom--and of course then he used much of Cricket for Aspects. I'm always sorta of two minds about him reusing themes--I think most of his scores have their own distinctive "sound" and work--and I particularly LOVE Aspects. That said I do kinda subscribe to the Sondheim theory that a song really should come out of a character and action specific to them (ALW says in the A&E documentary on youtube that Lyricists are less lucky than him cuz they can't reuse lyrics...)
That's why for me it's one thing to have it from a show he intends to have no afterlife (Cricket) or write it for one score and realize it doesn't suit that show (the Phantom/aspects thing) but another to have it produced for a swhow, even attempt to make it a hit single and then reuse it less than ten years later.
And why do feel like you can call someone ugly ? Also you don't post your own pix? That's seems coward-ish.

Regarding this whole "Brightman" situation, I shall quote myself from when the whole "Phantom 2" thing started:
"Eh - whatever."
"Y'know, I think Bertolt Brecht was rolling in his grave."

"English is not my mother language, therefore YOU have no reason to be hostile. But now I feel that's my duty. You are just a little ugly teenager with zero talent who uses the internet to fool yourself that your opinion is worth of respect.
Correct my horrendous grammar now.
And don't expect a reply."
And your duty would be...?
Being a b*tch?
