Blame him? Of course not! Roger's...Roger! I'd not only enjoy it too much, I'd fight to keep it in the script, and then convince him we had to practice that scene...ALL the time.

SPASM. The episode of Law and Order: SVU with Roger is on Tuesday (the twenty-first). *covers mouth and screams* It's on USA at eight PM, then again at eleven. AHHHH.
*cough* Moving on...yay for Rog on Law and Order! I have both episodes on tape...I'm a good little fangirl, yes I am. I'll probably end up watching anyway because I'm an idiot like that.
*glares* Well, some of us aren't lucky enough to have him on tape. I've only been a fan of his since...August? Late July. I didn't even know he existed until then. How sad is that?
Pretty sad...but then again, June for me. I think. Might have been early July. Stupid old me. And now my dad finally figured out how to tape stuff, as well! YAY! *squiggles*

What kills me is that I used to love "that guy who sings Go the Distance in Hercules". I never once bothered to actually look him up and find out who he was. I just loved his voice. This was years and years ago.
I know!!!! Hercules was a part of my childhood! *sigh*
I noticed him first in the Recording The Producers documentary...mainly because, "Hey, Carmen Ghia's not a creepy little bearded man! He's cute and has spiky hair! Hooray!"...and that was about it. Whenever I lent my copy to friends, I'd say, "In Keep it Gay, watch Carmen Ghia. He's adorable!". They'd all brush me off, of course...but I've since gotten them into Roger, too!
I really, really got into him when I saw him as Leo. My God, he was just so amazing - the acting, the dancing, the singing, the hysterics....aaaaaagh. I miss it. *sad*
*shudder* Do we have to talk about him? *winces* Come on, he's hot now! What with first Roger, then Brad...Carmen's a little vixen! *falls over and dies*

Brad Musgrove is love. He's the only actor (after Roger) that Ali, my friend, and I have been able to accept as Carmen. It helped that Roger was playing Leo opposite him.
Speaking of Brad, ohmygodHannafromHamurgandthatwhip. *dies*
...though I did kind of sort of resent the fact that all of the laughs he got were Roger's ad-libs. But then, that'll happen with any Carmen other than Roger himself from now until the end of time...so yes. I loved Brad, can't wait to see him in La Cage.....*sigh*
Did you read the interview with Roger where he talks about playing Leo opposite Brad? My favorite was when they asked if he was slipping back into his own Carmen when Brad says "Walk this way." he sais something like, "Well, he's doing me. So I'm doing him doing me. That's why it looks like I'm doing me."
Don't lynch me if that's not verbatum...

I love that interview. He says earlier in it that he's very tired, and it comes across. Wait, let me find the quote.
Is Bart slipping in a little of his old Ghia gate when the mincing Musgrove enticingly invites him to "Walk this way"? "Well, you see, he's doing me." So when Bart imitates Musgrove's walk, "I'm doing him doing me. So it may look like it's me doing me." Let's hope so.
That sounds...so wrong. "I'm doing him doing me." *tries not to laugh*

*eye twitches* We need some Carmen-on-Hanna action.
ETA: *covers eyes* No, no, never mind, because Brad Musgrove is Ben and I do not want Ben and Carmen together. So...no. Just Roger-on-Brad action.
