Thank YOU for such an amazing show. I was fortunate enough to see it last night, and it exceed my already high expectations. Every aspect: music, choreo, lighting and set design, just truly spectacular! Loved it so much I'm going back tonight to see it again! Just a fantastic, one of a kind show, and I'm so sad to see it go so soon.
I don't get why the nominators, the people who usually work in the industry (I'm pretty sure tom kitt was a nominator), didn't recognize the acheivements of this show. This makes me wonder if the nominators are as bad as the voters aka the producers.

From what I recall, a lot of the voters this year were older. It sucks, but awards don't mean anything once the day is done. If I was the only Tony voter, this would be winning Best Musical, along with Walker and Yorke being nominated. Nothing could top it or them this season. It's New York's best kept secret, truly.
They/them.

I'm still in denial that I won't get to see this again. I was planning to go when I'm back in NY but sadly I'm a week too late. I really hope this has a future life and cast recording!! It would be great to see what the show could be like off-Broadway. Don't know if that's realistic or not. And I would ABSOLUTELY give to a Kickstarter for a recording. I need the Broadway version of selling out!!!
Anyway thank you for a really intriguing night of theater!!
