To echo what others have said, AP was definitely edgy and innovative (what a wonderful flashback to the 80s!). I liked the movie and was definitely intrigued on how it would be adapted to the stage… The lighting, projections, staging, music and cast --- just everything was superb. Ben Walker definitely carried the show on his shoulders and was the perfect Patrick Bateman.
I'm devastated that it's closing way too early; my 4th time will be the final show . I would definitely make kickstarter pledge for the Broadway cast album!!
Thank you all for your support. We do want to come away with an album of some kind. There are challenges, but we all share your feelings and will work on it. Thankfully, we were able to do a recording for the Lincoln Center archives. I'm planning a viewing there every Friday the 13th for the rest of my life. Ugh, I am really going to miss this show...

I'm so sorry the way this show ended, it really seemed like a labour of love for all those involved. I hope an album and tour are in the works. I have a feeling in 20 years time people will have open minds and a revival will give this show the acclaim it deserves. Never stop producing.

Last night, inspired by the good will on the thread & my feelings toward the production, I bought 4 tickets for the Sat, june 4 eve performance - would be at the final show, but my best friend from high school has the nerve to be getting married that day!
Seth- let us know how we can support the show in any other way in the final days.
Seth, I admire you for taking the time to address us and discuss your show. We usually don't get such a perspective from someone involved in an show. Best of luck to you and your fellow cast members. Signed, Roman in Austin, Texas
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)
Seth, you're so kind. I absolutely love that you're taking the time to write here. This show is a marvel. Even the inkling of a cast recording is giving me hope. Again, a Kickstarter or GoFundMe or some site where you get the money even if you don't meet the goal could help, and there are many who would donate. Thank you again for bringing this show to Broadway. Truly worth it.

Just walked out of my third showing and it really is a fantastic show. From a lighting and staging aspect, it should be studied by everyone else who wants to work with that.
Please start the Kickstarter or whatever it is we need for an album - I'll be there with my credit card ready.
Been away from NYC for a bit, and was so glad this was the show I picked the night before a job interview in Jersey... I'd be kicking myself if I missed this, especially after I helped Kickstart the UK production (I ever have a Patrick Bateman USB/business card). Love BEE, Loved Benjamin Walker, and the whole experience was superb...
Dave Thomas Brown just tweeted that they need $55,000 to get a cast recording done (I think, tell me if this is something else entirely). I would gladly contribute to a Kickstarter funding this, especially if it's this much money, because I think this is completely doable.

There is no way they could make a recording for $55,000, but perhaps that is just the amount left that they need to reach their goal. They really need to start a Kickstarter campaign. I'm ready to throw a little money their way.
Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco.
Tony: Eh, she's a no chip!

So are many of us, Seth. Expect a lot of appreciation this weekend from us Psycho-lovers!
What an amazing show that sadly was cut short in it's prime, and I certainly encourage anyone who is a fan of this show to report any negative behavior on this thread *cough cough Liza cough cough* because we should be able to celebrate show we loved in peace without having to worry about people spewing troll negativity all over the board.
I fell in love with the show at first visit. I was enraptured. So avant-garde, thrilling and the level of talent involved-off the charts! I am coming in from Buffalo for the last weekend and already have my ticket to the final show and will hitting it up one or two other times. It's really a shame this creative endeavor was ended so soon.
Id also throw some money towards a recording.
Much love to everyone involved.

I second the love, but not just over the weekend, the week... I'm going tomorrow and closing!
Went last night (Sunday)for a second time. What an amazing piece of work on every level. I loved it the first time I loved it more the second because I could relax a bit and take in so many nuances.
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND : ( I do not know the demographic of who votes for the Tony's ( are they idiots? Aside from lovely Jessie Mueller WAITRESS?!)
This was an incredible show! In every way!! Thank you Seth for coming here and sharing. I too would contribute to a kickstarter for a cast album.
There would have been an audience for this show. There IS if it had been handled properly ( although I have no knowledge or understanding of what went wrong)
Thank you to the entire company. I have NEVER seen a show this relevant or riveting have such an untimely close. I DO NOT GET IT ?
