True.

But it's taller when you can look down and check out everyone's scalps.

Average height of an American man is 5 foot 10. Average height of an American woman is 5 foot 4. Just to put a little perspective here.

The final Broadway Trevor Graydon in TMM! I met him last night after a musical review he starred in in L.A. What a treat! I'm 6'2" and he's almost my height. Handsome as the boy next door, tremendous voice and stage presence, and a darn good actor. I've seen in in Side Show (twice), Carousel, 10 Commandments (the recent Val Kilmer one and Kevin sung cirles around him), and Titanic, all in the L.A. area. I told him last night he's going to be a huge Broadway star. I hope you BW.commers out there will prove me right!

Tommy Tune

When someone blunders, we say that he makes a misstep. Is it then not clear that all the ills of mankind, all the tragic misfortunes that fill our history books, all the political blunders, all the failures of the great leaders have arisen merely from a lack of skill in dancing. - Moliere

The two Broadway men I admire most are relatively short. Both Patrick Wilson and Eric McCormack are about 5'9".

I thought Eric McCormack was over 6 feet tall. My misconception I guess.

I don't think Eric McCormack is much taller than Debra Messing, is he?

Eric McCormack sang a song from the Will and Grace soundtrack on Regis and Kelly and I wanted to vomit. Not only was it a terrible song, but Eric seems to think he's a better singer than he is. I know he's done B'wayand I think his voice is fine, it's just nothing special...

Sorry this had nothing to do with his height, but i was reminded of his terrible performance.

Garber's bio says he's 6' 2" but he's taller than that. Don't believe everything you read!!!

I stand by my guns...neither McCormack or Wilson is over 5'9". Don't believe what they put in their bio's. Watch WILL AND GRACE and see that Will is shorter than Jack. In fact Will, Grace and Karen are quite short.

I've stood side by side with both men and they are shorter than I am. I stand 5'10".

I came across Patrick Wilson on the sidewalk when I interviewed him for this site and the first thing I noticed was how short he is.

Hey, Mel Gibson is a shortie, too.

Oh, to whoever said Hugh Jackman is shorter than 6 foot 1- I seriously doubt that, having seen him standing next to a 6 foot tall friend. I don't think he's quite 6'3", but 6'2" seems right.

Tom Hewitt is 6'3". Met him after Dracula preview. Since I'm 6'4" I told him it was good to see more tall guys on Broadway.

I pulled out my pictures and it is quite obvious that Patrick Wilson is about 1" shorter than I am. This is obvious in all three photots I've taken with him. Eric McCormack is perhaps 2" shorter. (I'm 5'10"). The one person who is MUCH shorter than I am is Nathan Lane. He comes up to my chin!

Now, is it possible that I am taller than I think I am?

There's no way that Hugh Jackman is over 6'. I had the great good fortune of having dinner with him while he was in BFO thanks to my uncle who is an agent who arranged a charity event for him. 6' would be tops, if that. And Matt Caplan is no taller than 5'10 or '11.
