I saw it today. Actually I was more engrossed in the first part where it is more grounded than the second part when the action takes off after the reveal. It is an interesting portrayal of people being forced to think the unthinkable by their situation, a discussion whose seriously, IMO, is unfortunately detracted by the not so well handled reveal.

This could be my favorite play of this broadway season so far. Well-trained chemistry and crafted script has not been seen since September. As a play written recently, this piece is delightful, funny, and sometimes thought-provoking. I do believe the first 40 mins are quite successful as foreshadowing dialogues for the character's purposes, even though they are pretty dull. The small cast have a wonderful chemistry and all of them have extremely different acting techniques, but somehow the show works.

I have to mention Deborah Findlay, she has such a great comedic timing. Mr. Cook and Ms. Annis also have great stage presence. Those chemistry is rarely seen now on broadway, and I so do hope London can transfer more plays here.

So glad i saw this. Went this evening (Tues).

Got a TDF ticket. Dead center second row premier level.

Firstly, I don't feel as if there was one big"reveal". I found there to be 3. Why Rose was there, who she is and the child. I felt like layers were being peeled back with something new under each one.I checked my watch once and to my surprise the play was 10 minutes from the end. The time flew by.

The performances are stellar and it packed a powerful message. It is a subtle rollercoaster ride.

This show has been on my list but i sat on it. Decided Monday night that if I stayed home on Tuesday i would end up watching the address, which I really didn't want to see. I made the right choice.

Just give the world Love.
