My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her family.

I'm thinking about legally changing my name to Lizzie Curry...
Oh how awful...I really wish her much strength during this difficult time.
She's very lucky to be in this show right now - something to help her with the grief. I imagine the father/daughter scenes in the show will now be extra difficult for her.
Gosh, I feel so sad for her.

I don't think there are words to properly express how sorry all of her fans feel for her terrible loss. I will continue to keep her and her family in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. If a child truly is a reflection of a parent's best attributes, then I have no doubt that Mr. McDonald was a great man.
What's really eerie is to think that as it was happening, I was meeting her. She is such a nice, genuine person... really a pleasure. My heart goes out to her through this rough time.
My thoughts are with her family at this terrible time.

What horrible news--I send my thoughts and prayers to Ms. McDonald, her family, and anyone else affected by the crash.
Playbill.com is reporting now that the show will go dark for Wednesday and Thursday nights, and will resume performances May 4th. So it appears that the decision was made not to use her understudy.
I absolutely adore Ms. McDonald as performer and was heartbroken to hear about her tragic loss. My thoughts and best wishes are with her and her family in this extremely difficult time.

wow. i honestly don't even know what to say. audra is one of the best performers of our time. i love her so much and i hope she can get through this horrible time in her life and still open her show in 8 days. my thoughts and prayers are with you, Audra.
I just got back from tonight's performance. Audra was absolutely enthralling! She got a minute and a half long entrance applause, and she didn't miss a beat out there. An absolutely gorgeous production and a mind blowing performance by Audra! I don't know how she managed to do it tonight, but she was 1000% on from beginning to end. The audience was on their feet cheering for her in her final bow and she was clearly grateful, not to mention crying. My thoughts are with her and her family in this terrible time. Audra is the real thing. What I saw her do tonight absolutely blew me away.

thank you so much for that report, WBAF. she is brilliant in this role and tonight's performance must have been very emotional for her. she is a true professional.
She really is very impressive, even managing to keep cool when the fire alarms unexpectedly went off during tonight's performance, at just exactly one of the worst times for them to do so.
She's a goddess.

I saw the evening performance of 110 on Saturday. Audra was beyond incredible. My heart goes out to her and her family at this sad time. I hope she is able to find comfort in her family surrounding her, but also the Broadway community, which is deeply saddened by her loss.
