Let us know how it looks from that seat.

I'm sitting in AA 209 in a couple weeks.....cannot wait!!

"

I sat AA 211 Saturday night which is the end of the row next to the aisle/tree. That seat was AMAZING. Pre show the row got to pet the chicken and talk to mama. They also asked me to help move the tree, the actors skim very close past you all the time, and Alex Newell blew me a kiss during the show. 10/10 recommend that group of seats.

I sat in the 400's and didn't have a problem with that area.

I didn't miss anything and I liked that I could see down the 'tunnel of light/water' area at the far end.

The scene with the curtain was actually really cool as you could not only still see the silhouettes perfectly, but the actors actually perform TO the audience in the 400 section, so there was a lot of stuff the rest of the audience couldn't see plus you don't miss the silhouettes.

I do think I missed something on the other side of the curtain as it came down but it wasn't a big deal.

I sat in E103 today, and I'll agree that it felt that large parts of the show were played as if the theater was standard proscenium, with the entrance doors being the back wall, and the edge of the river being the "Fourth Wall." I would agree that the odds of the 200s would probably be better than the evens, but I think the front row, feet in the sand, either side would be fantastic.

Currently deciding between Row K Seat 140 and Seat 139 (opposite sides of the 100's and the cheapest seats). Would any of you recommend one side over the other or would I be fine either way?

We had seats in the odd 200's (3rd row, in front of where Mama cooks before the show) and had a great view. But I noticed that the cast faced the even 200's side for most of the show so I feel like they got the best view overall.

I was there tonight, was in seat F 131 and thought it was perfect. Only thing better would be one over to be right on the aisle or maybe one or two rows closer but those are much more expensive. It was the best of both 100 and 200 cause it was angled towards both of them. There were several entrances and exits in my row as well. It was also far enough back to really appreciate the staging.  No photo of a view from my seat cause photography is banned inside the theatre. I could elaborate on specific scenes but don’t want to post spoilers.

btw, my seat was $89 plus fees. I noticed  my exact seat was listed at $159 for the matinee performance that same day.

Is there any obstructions with the boat being in front of that section, though? Or, does it move? I ask 'cause they're charging $200 for A-102 and then, Row B behind it is way cheaper. Maybe it's better sitting farther back ? Any insight would be appreciated! :)

I’m about to purchase tickets as well (giving up on waiting for a discount) - this thread is super helpful. Looks like consensus is mostly odd 200s or front row either side if you want the sand experience and are willing to turn at times?? If, like me, you could only see this one time, which would you go for? We love feeling immersed so both sound like fun experiences but if you had to pick for best overall viewing, etc where would you sit? I don’t necessarily care about touching sand unless there’s some additional benefit to sitting front row - all opinions appreciated!

There is a code! Valid through July 8th.

ISLANDBB

Cheapest is still $89 but discounts that for rows that were $119 or so.

Thanks for the code!  So that would take first row off the table if I want to go for the $40 per ticket savings - any thoughts on which side of the odd 200s is best?  Closest row for my date is Row D from 235 all the way to the aisle or Row E 201.  Is there a "better" side of the odd 200s?

Front row would really have to be worth the additional $80 but I could be persuaded.

**UPDATED** Apparently at each performance other than Sunday evenings at 7:30 (at least in June), E 201 and several seats further into the row are considered Premium ($250 or $300 depending on the night).  On Sunday nights, those seats, but not the ones on the other side of the section, are included in the discount code.  So I went with E 201 and 203 for the $119 price since the theater, at least, deems those premium for all other shows.

Hoping someone can answer this question for me. I've been trying to decide on which seat to buy...but there aren't lots of great seats, like the ones suggested all through this thread, available for my performance.

But there are TONS of great seats on Premium. Will they be changed to regular price once it gets closer to the performance date. We're just over a week away at this point. The house looks like it's barely sold anything.

I don't want to buy something now and find that everything is released in a few days.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I really want to get AA, but I think $250 is crazy.

Finally saw this last night - I got TKTS tickets at the Brooklyn location and my seats were row A 237 and 239. Our seats were incredible - they were the 2 seats in the second row that are separated from the rest of the section by the fallen telephone pole. We had many members of the cast walking past us, and singing right behind us - it seemed like Lea Salonga was constantly behind us singing backup whenever she wasn't the focus. Great view of everything and I think I'll post my thoughts on the show in a different thread.

theaterdude2 - the show is absolutely worth seeing, but I can't recommend paying full price when there are so many options for a discount (TKTS, lotto, rush) and basically every seat would offer a very close and wonderful view.

Thank you FANtom Follies. It's not that I don't like a discount, it's my time that's the issue. I have a very tight schedule. That's why I'm wondering if the Premium seats will change over to regular price. Then I can go to the box office with a discount code and at least get a bit of a savings. I'd rather not do that online for a seat that, while I'm sure will be fine, won't be as great as the ones recommended on this thread.

If you (or anyone reading this) has any knowledge of whether these "premium" seats will change over to a regular price, please let me know! Thanks so much for the response.

And just like that...the seating chart changed. And I got a ticket in Row AA in the odd number side so I'm very happy. Just goes to show, if you keep checking, sometimes it works out! Had I waited I could have had something less expensive..but maybe not the seat I wanted.

Thank you to this thread for your help!
