After a conversation about how difficult it is for her to get a cab on Friday & Saturday nights, and me saying cabs NEVER wanna stop for wheelchairs, Mary Bond Davis literally walked out onto the street and stood in front of a cab to try and get it to stop for me. It was classic.

Sutton Foster definately tops my list...she has been so nice to my friends and I. Also...Spencer Kayden is great...she is hilarious. John Collum was nice as well- he offered to take a picture for my Dad and me. Kerry Butler is always a sweetheart.

Dequina Moore
Rob Bartlett (hilarious man)
Carolee Carmello

These are just the people who I have had conversations with who really struck me as people who really care about their fans and those who look up to them.

Without a doubt, Sebastian Arcelus from RENT. I had HIM coming up to ME during a performance of the poetry musical 'Subway Train' to thank me for the letter I wrote him.

Also, Daphne Rubin Vega. She saw how shy I was and demanded a hug, and was very sweet.

Michelle Federer was a doll as well.

I always enjoy going to the Broadway Flea Market, most of the actors come out and are very gracious with their time.

That's not the purpose of this thread, and I think you meant to write "Who ARE the most shallow people on Broadway" or "Who is the most shallow PERSON on Broadway"

And if you are ever in midtown, my vote is for you....

Some might respect other people's privacy when living their normal everyday lives. I know there are some people out there that just have to say "hi" to someone they recognize as famous. It's unfortunate.

And lo and behold... "CELEBS" are PEOPLE - they take mass transit, they eat in restaurants, they go to the bathroom, they buy postage, they walk their dogs. AMAZING and AWESOME.

BRIAN STOKES MITCHELL ALL THE WAY!! Such a humble and genuine individual! He was always extremely generous with his time at the MoLM stage door (even on the rainiest of nights!)

I met Dick Scanlan walking his adorable dogs. I did not know it was him as i went over to pet the cutest dogs i have ever seen.
When i looked up to tell him how adorable they were he said don't i know you.
It was funny. He is a very nice man.

I have to agree. I think 'putting on the face' and signing the playbills is just a really big part of the job. I'm not saying that some of these people aren't genuinely nice, but sometimes it's hard to tell, because if they're smart, they're going to treat their fans well and meeting and greeting at the stage door comes as part of the territory, really. I mean, it's clearly not required, but as I said, sometimes it's hard to differentiate whether it's sincere or a big act.

Master, I'm with you there. How many have invited you to spend the night? re: re: re: re: Nicest Broadway Peformers (Or how many of you hope and pray everytime you see Marc Kudisch that he'll invite you over? Or am I alone on that one? Heh.)

Which ones have done something for you other than sign a playbill and chat for a moment? ...Something out of the ordinary that they didn't need to do? I think those are the ones who deserve mention.

Henry Winkler went over to my dad who was standing in the corner waiting for me to finish attacking people for autographs and shook his hand and thanked him for coming. Come on- How nice is that!!

I agree. Henry Winkler is an incredibly sweet guy. I was at the closing night of a show and was backstage when I saw Henry Winkler there on his way out. I told him how much I enjoyed his performance in The Dinner Party and he thanked me and gave me a kiss on the cheek *blush*

There are a TON of nice actors (which most of you have listed), but seriously, as I say "Acting is politics." Most actors know that they have to play nice and all to every single person who comes up for them. Putting on a face.

And I know THOSE, and a couple of truly nice actors.

But you can never be too sure with people who portray other people and pretend on stage 24/7. re: re: re: re: re: re: re: re: Nicest Broadway Peformers
