Over my years of going to Broadway, I have visited many a stage doors. Some performers extend extra gratutity for your being apart of the audience and make you feel right at home. I appreciate the many performers who do this. Who do you feel are the nicest performers you ever met in your experience with Broadway? (*Some of these people were actually overly nice )
~Susan Egan ~Kelli Rabke ~Micheal Damion ~Belle Callaway* ~Ruthie Henshall ~Maggie Benjamin* ~Justin Johnson ~Henry Winkler* ~John Ritter* ~Michelle Federer* ~Carole Shelley ~Kristin Chenoweth (although Idina is my most favorite Broadway performer, she was exhausted at the stage door and barely said one word which is understandable) ~Sutton Foster ~Christian Borle ~Delta Bourke* ~Angela Christian ~Felicia Finley ~Carla J. Hargrove* ~DeQuina Moore* ~Trisha Jeffrey*
Winner of Nicest Cast: Avenue Q* (Each one of them were so so nice when meeting them. John Tartaglia even started conversation with us!) - Winner of Overall Nicest Performer: Henry Winkler
I'm seeing Wonderful Town in a few weeks- Do Donna Murphey and Jennifer Westfeldt come out of the stage door? Jennifer Westfeldt is one actress I greatly respect with Kissing Jessica Stein being one of my favorite movies. She is really natural when she is on the screen and I admire that ability of hers.
Bernadette Peters...she comes out every night, and makes sure everyone gets something signed that wants one. One time she even invited everyone inside on the stage to sign playbills and get pictures. She is so sweet to everyone!!!!!!!!!!!
I've never met the lovely Bernadette, but I promise everyone I will see her in whatever lies in the future for her talent. I love Bernadette though from all the recordings and movies she's been in.

"I broke the boundaries. It wasn't cool to be in plays- especially if you were in sports & I was in both." - Ashton Kutcher
Linda Eder is one of the nicest people I've met. She's just very down to earth and her "niceness" isn't put on.
I agree with Bernadette....I think she is amazing, and could act like a diva if she wanted, but she is very friendly and gives a lot of time at the stage door.
And I'll second Ruthie Henshall....I saw her as Velma in Chicago (amazing by the way), and when she came out the stage door she was this tiny cute lady that was so gracious and friendly....
as for the men....Hugh Jackman may top the list...
broadwayguy2- You're not supposed to squeeze their buns. Geez.

I met Bruce Vilanch at the stage door of the Hairspray tour and he was extremely friendly and we had a conversation and I got an autograph and photos so he tops my list.
BSoBW2: I punched Sondheim in the face after I saw Wicked and said, "Why couldn't you write like that!?"
Adam Pascal has to be at the top of my list!! He was sooo incredibly sweet both times I met him. The first time he had a whole conversation with my friend(luvtheemcee) on the phone because she could not make it there...aka "The Phone Story". Also.... Sutton Foster Kristin Chenoweth Patrick Wilson Michael Cavanaugh...
Oh and of course Hunter Foster...I talked to him on the phone when I couldn't be there to see him and he was sooo sweet!!
I loovveee Idina but she didn't really seem like she was into the whole stage door thing when she came out. I'm sure she was just tired or stressed or something.

Marissa Jaret Winokur Bernadette Peters Jane Krakowski Melanie Griffith Vanessa Williams Kerry Butler Carla J. Hargrove DeQuina Moore Trisha Jeffrey Rob Barlett Dick Latessa Jackie Hoffman Mary Bond Davis Sutton Foster Delta Burke Leslie Uggams
That's just some off the top of my head. I have yet to meet someone who was unfriendly.

I second Adam Pascal. One of the sweetest and most gorgeous guys you can meet. Very friendly and down to earth and appreciative of his fans. Also John Stamos was incredibly nice to me and my friend (maybe because we told him we are Greek) and the divine Eartha Kitt !!!!
I've met some really nice broadway stars and im sure those up on your lists are incredible Harriet Harris(when i saw her it ws her last performance of millie sweetheart) sutton Foster Leslie Uggams THE WHOLE FRICKIN CAST OF AVENUE Q is so down to earth its not funny John Tartaglia hit on me(by the way im straight ,funny guy though) Bernadette *My goddess* peters Tammy Blanchard John Dossest David Burtka Hunter Foster Alice Ripley Spencer Kayden Marin Mazzie Don Mayo Timothy Shew Norbert Leo Butz Michelle Federer Bill Irwin
I've never met a rude broadway actor before since they are so down to earth. Yet a big star with initials BSM and ES ran away from a crowd(not lying they snuck out the main entrance in a limo)

Carolee Carmello. She cracked up when daisyhilton couldn't figure out the workings of a disposable camera. Oh, and she offered to put down her umbrella (in the rain, obviously) for the picture.
Michael Cavanaugh is officially the nicest person ever. He was so grounded and adorable. He seemed almost shocked that people would want *his* autograph. And I have to mention the lovely Adam Pascal. I've heard so many stories about him not being nice, and they're SO wrong. When I met him after Cabaret, he seemed genuinely flattered and was just so so nice. I also met him when I was really young, and I was terrified, but he was so nice. I can't say enough for that man. And he has the most gorgeous smile on the planet. (Wicked_Elphie, thanks for mentioning that story, lol) Also really nice: Kristin Chenoweth - she seemed like the kind of person who'd be your best friend. I was shivering because it was so cold and she put her arm around me so I'd be warmer. Patrick Wilson - he wrote a note to me on a playbill when my friend met him and I couldn't be there. So great when I met him too. Jeffrey Carlson Hunter Foster - just ask Wicked_Elphie! Noah Racey - just a doll. Absolutely adorable too. Susan Egan Idina Menzel was a lot more reserved than some other actors I've met. She was by no means not nice - broadway performers rarely are - she was probably exhausted, which is totally understandable.
Luv, I am SHOCKED !!! You put Cavanaugh BEFORE Adam ? And I change my icon on the same day ? Well, someone is feeling VERY betrayed tonight by his two babies...LOL
oh no... greekmusicalfan, you've made me feel really guilty. Let's call it a tie between those two. But you changing your icon... by that I am shocked. I think we'll be needing to make it up to adam, lol
