My FAVORITE Broadway Actors who I LOVE (cause their AWESOME):
Josh Strickland, Aaron Lazar, David Ayers, Sebastian Arcelus and Hugh Panaro
"If this is going to be a Christian nation that doesn't help the poor, either we have to pretend that Jesus was just as selfish as we are, or we've got to acknowledge that He commanded us to love the poor and serve the needy without condition and then admit that we just don't want to do it." -Stephen Colbert
Anyone who doesn't think Nancy Anderson should do it is a fool. She's so freakishly talented. And, she wouldn't be doing a carbon copy of Sutton, she would bring a very fresh approach to the role and really make it her own. Plus, she's a critic's darling. Every major reviewer has given her nothing but raves in the past. If the show were to be re-reviewed with her you could garauntee incredible reviews. I love her, I love the idea of her in the show, and I really hope that she gets the part. Count me down as another vote for the brilliantly talented NANCY ANDERSON.
Sutton's contractually finished in March. You'll see a replacement by May. If you have your heart set on an original cast lead, you're best bet is to see the production as close to opening as possible. Hopefully the replacement will be great in her own right and you can enjoy her performance.
Bumping to see if anyone has a date yet as to when this inevitable cast change is happening. I haven't been able to find a date in my own searches. Updated On: 2/15/07 at 11:31 PM
I would love to see Sara Gettelfinger in the role. I also think Brooke Shields would be great. But if they want a real musical theatre triple-threat, Gettelfinger is the way to go.

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Brooke Shields is a fascinating choice. But IMHO, I think it's time she had a show created for her, rather than becoming another fabulous replacement.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
I asked Bob at the stage door last week when he would be leaving and he said that it was not set in stone but that it would be sometime in early March.
I have no idea about Sutton's last day.
