She mentioned to me back in October that she was considering joining the tour for a stint so that she could do the Seattle leg, because she wanted to perform on stage in the theater where she saw so many shows growing up. However, that was October...last I mentioned it to her, maybe a month ago, she said she really wasn't sure yet what she was doing. I think she's getting kinda tired of playing Glinda and it may be time for her to move on to something else. So frankly I don't think that even she knows yet, but there definitely is some truth to that rumor.
Wasn't she in a reading a while back? I really hope something comes to that. I want to see her originate a role.

I saw her in a reading of a show called "Party Come Here," although I don't think anything's gonna come of that. She also did another reading...I can't remember what it was called but it had David Hyde Pierce in it. I have no clue what's going on with that one, but VERY rarely to the actors who perform in the reading actually end up being cast if the show makes it to Broadway or Off-Broadway. Hopefully Megan will stick around Broadway long enough to get to originate a role. Something tells me she has Hollywood aspirations.
Megan is NOT doing Legally Blonde. The only role that she would even be considered for is Elle Woods and Laura Bell Bundy is already pretty much as good as cast. And besides, Megan doesn't want to play Elle Woods...it's too much like Glinda and she doesn't want to be typecast.
I do not think she is l ooking to go to Hollywood, why do you say that HBG? Also, what will happen to Kendra and Julia if Shoshana and Megan do this stint on the tour?
Horton: I say that because I've spoken to her about it. I don't know if it's something that she wants to do right now but she's definitely interested in doing movies and she did audition a lot for TV shows during this pilot season. Personally I think it would be such a waste for someone with a voice like that to do sitcoms or something, but that's just me.
I hope they announce it officially soon, since she would be the only reason I'd drive to Toronto and tickets are already on sale (and have been for awhile).
popular_elphie- I'm just not a fan of hers. 4 of my friends have gone out to New York and have seen her and were not impressed with her one bit (I missed her when I went to NYC, I saw JLT). I've seen videos too, and her voice just doesn't appeal to me.
