Plus what they advertised as great original songs. Let me see where did they go wrong with this movie-just bad script. I think that's all I can say.

WTF?? is what I ask too. I am not talking about Lifetime Achievement Awards or anything like that. If that's how you took it, then you just answered your own question. I just felt that her performances was not worth Tony Award winning.
And MOLJUL understood me right. Marissa was out of her league. But as with the Tony Awards, they award one show, they award everyone in that show. She just got lucky.

Posted: 1/5/04 at 2:58pmI would have to agree...her singing voice is not the best. In the Hairspray soundtrack there are several times where her voice goes flat..and thats on a recording! ugh. I mean it works for Tracy but from what I heard on Beautiful girl she isnt much of a singer in person either.
