Courtesy of the rehearsal video on Broadway.com, I got some of the lyrics to "What You Want" that they were mumbling to themselves (and Jerry was speaking/indicating to them), and they come out in my ears as:
"An essay's so boring, and so much does not fit,
So we're appearing live right here, making clear you must admit that
Elle (That's me!) Woods..."
and that's all I got.
I could tell from the lyrics alone that the guy at Harvard who's witnessing all this is going to be weirded out big time. I say that is PURE COMEDY as it was meant to be shown to the audience.

Posted: 2/5/07 at 7:56pmWell, it's official opening is at the end of April, like WEDDING SINGER, so it should come out in late May/early June (like the Wedding Singer's recording). It won't be late April, most shows don't record until it's opening (with the exception of the Chorus Line revival).
