Johny, in answer to your question about "offical", there is an article this afternoon on broadway.com with a picture, announcing that "Jordan Ballard and Blake Hammonds are moving to Broadway".Congrats to both! and WayWicked, you were right on! Congrats to Oklahoma City University!
I know Jordan Ballad's grandfather. He mentioned yesterday that she'd been touring in Hairspray, so I googled her and this is where I ended up. I was reading all the glowing reviews of her and thought that I should print them out for him to read, until I started reading the SEXY comments, lol! Anyway, I've never met her, even though I see her grandfather once a week or so. Can anyone direct me to a photo of her, possibly from Hairspray?
Jordan, Blake Hammond, Burce Vilanch and Todd Sussman will all be in the B-Way production of HAIRSPRAY beginning October 5.
I miss the hell out of them all already on the tour....

“I hesitate to give this line of discussion the validation it so desperately craves by perpetuating it, but the light from logic is getting further and further away with your every successive post.” <<>>

If you google Jordan Ballard in Hairspray, or Jordan Ballard pictures, I found some on the internet. Wish I could see that opening night, sounds like a fun new group of people for the Broadway cast.
so, goldielox that is cool about Jordan having a grandfather still alive, how old is he? Where does he live? Also, do you know for sure if the Opening Night is Oct. 5th? Does anyone know if that is considered a preview night, or if they have an offical opening night? Maybe there will be no reviewers since they just did it when Carly Jibson and Michael McKean began? If anyone goes, please post a review for us.
Um, I think he's the same age as my grandmother so that would make him 83. He lives in Oklahoma and owns a restaurant that he still works in almost every day. As a matter of a fact, about the only time he isn't there is when he has a trip to take. If you're ever headed south on I-35 to Dallas, you should stop in. It's right on the interstate and you can't miss the Ballard's sign. Be sure and sign the guestbook if you do.
