Jessica Simpson said in an interview after her and Nick "spilt" that she wanted to move to New York and maybe even try a Broadway show! Does anybody see her doing that? If so, what role do you think she'd go for? Just curious...
I like Charlie Brown's hands...
"It's like I'm being tied to the hood of a yellow rental truck, being packed in with fertilizer and fuel oil, pushed over a cliff by a suicidal Mickey Mouse."
Oh good heavens NO!!! Please tell me this is some type of a sick joke.
"All I ask of you is one thing: please don't be cynical. I hate cynicism -- it's my least favorite quality and it doesn't lead anywhere. Nobody in life gets exactly what they thought they were going to get. But if you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen."
Conan O'Brien
I don't think she has the voice or the chops to play Chrisine, but (though she'd never accept that small of a role) she'd be good as the Oklahoma! girl.
Did any of you see the "Jessica & Nick Christmas Special"?
Girlfriend can't act to save her chin.
"Winning a Tony this year is like winning Best Attendance in third grade: no one will care but the winner and their mom."

"I have also met him in person, and I find him to be quite funny actually. Arrogant and often misinformed, but still funny."

Jessica auditioned in front of Tommy Mottola and got hired immediatly by Sony records without being slutty or having to bang Tommy (like Mariah Carey, Thalia or allegedly Jennifer Lopez) maybe her sister is not talented, but Jessica is a great singer. Her acting is decent and she has always shown some interest in being on Broadway and musical theatre in general. She starred in her high school version of "A Chorus Line" and she was brilliant. Her theatre teacher said on an interview that when Jessica left that school, she didn't know what to do with the plays she planned Jessica to star in.
"People have their opinions and that doesn't mean that their opinions are wrong or right. I just take it with a grain of salt because opinions are like as*holes, everyone has one".

LOL!!!no...that is not true, i didn't like many pop stars that starred on Broadway. I wasn't too impressed by Deborah Cox in Aida for example. And many others I can't think of. I think Britney Spears(who was offered a role on Broadway) is a good dancer...but I can't stand her voice.

Jessica would be fine as Maureen in Rent, seriously. She'd probably over act and make Over the moon extra goofy, but i'd pay to see it, seriously. it'd be fun. Plus, I just saw Rent the other day and didn't think Ava was that great at all.
no i am saying she probably got her recording deal with a major record company becuz she married Mottola. Does she have talent? ABSOLUTELY! 2 different things. How many talented singers never get recording deals? or don't even get a chance to sing in front of Mottola or any big recording mogul.

Jessica would be great as VAL in A Chorus Line! I know that she turned down the role in HS and played Cassie instead, but now I think she's "ready" to play VAL. I think it would be great!
also Mandy Moore says everytime she can that she wants to do Broadway. She is lovely.
